These are complemented by tart fruit aromas of sloe, cassis leaf, juniper berry, and plum. On the palate, the wine is juicy yet structured, with fine acidity and a pronounced but polished tannin structure. The alcohol appears moderate for such an expressive red wine. The medium-bodied finish is distinctly shaped by the tart fruit notes and the fine spice from the wood.
